The fire manipulation and acrobatics display has become a spectacular feature of the blues Festival over the years highlighting the young talent emerging from the community via the Lieder. Performers from past shows have gone onto studying performing arts around Australia and even taken up professional careers in street theatre, circus and on stage.

Local composer, Paul Paviour has contributed music to the production alongside music chosen by the Company to perform to. Peter McLaren has also assisted on the musical side of the production.
Firesong, commencing at 9pm, will last approximately forty-five minutes. It will involve sequences with fire staff, diabolo, a fire bike, fire juggling, poi, fire sculptures and much more. The show is assisted by adult members of the Lieder including Pauline J Mullen, Bill Dorman, Colin Simson, Marc Nell, Alan Churchill, Brian Richardson, Lee Gray, John Knops and Craig Edwards.
A highlight this year will be the inclusion of live and pre-recorded video footage screened throughout the show created by local young filmmaker, James McPaul and Bill Dorman.

Funding to assist with this event has been gratefully received from Goulburn Mulwaree Council.
